Children's Ballroom & Latin

Look here to find details of the classic Ballroom & Latin American classes, which are run to suit all ages and abilities. All classes are designed to prepare the children for medal examinations.

What to Wear
Uni-Ted 3 - 5 yrs

Leggings or shorts with T-shirt. Please no denim-wear.
Footwear - a pair of washed clean soled Jelly or Doodle shoes, to be brought with the child and put on inside the school.

Girls 5 - 11 yrs

Juvenile Ballroom or Latin dress in either royal blue or daffodil yellow (the school colours)
Footwear:

Girls 12 yrs and over

Skirt in either blue or yellow with a capped or short sleeved T-shirt (not vest top) and leggings under the skirt (if preferred).

Boys

School trousers or dark coloured slacks (dance trousers if owned) with either a black or white shirt. Ties may be worn.

Footwear

With the exception of the Uni-Ted class (see above) all other absolute beginners classes should have a pair of smooth, washed, clean-soled shoes that stay on the foot, preferably attached with a strap or laces. These to be brought into the school and put on just before class. These precautions help to keep the floor free of dirt and substances that could cause slips or falls.

Trainers are not suitable footwear for dancing and should not be worn under any circumstances.

Payment

Payment for lessons may be made in cash, by cheque or via online banking. Monthly Standing Order payments can also be arranged. (Bank details available from Ann) We regret that we are unable to accept payment by credit or debit card.
